Course Details

Dates: September 12 & 13
Time: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Location: Grand Island YMCA

This course provides certification in:

  • American Red Cross Lifeguarding
  • CPR for the Professional Rescuer
  • First Aid Basics
  • AED Essentials

Important Requirements

This is a blended learning course, meaning participants must complete approximately 8 hours of online coursework before attending the in-person training.

Participants must be at least 15 years old by the end of the course. Space is limited to 10 participants, so early registration is encouraged.

Registration Fees

  • $49 for individuals who commit to guarding at the YMCA (Aquatic Director approval required)
  • $200 for YMCA Members
  • $250 for Non-Members

Registration must be completed at the Grand Island YMCA Front Desk.
