Janitorial and Maintenance

We are looking for a skilled maintenance worker to perform tasks such as repairing equipment, maintain HVAC units, electrical, and lighting. This person is also responsible for helping to keep the building tidy and functional. Reliability, an eye for details, and the desire to get the job done are important for the person filling this position.

Child Care Teacher & Aides

Child Care Teacher Aides, 25 hours, Monday – Friday, mornings or afternoons

Personal Trainers

We are looking for Personal Trainers to provide a high quality experience for all individual and small group personal training participants in a fun and safe environment. Applicant must have current, nationally recognized certification as well as CPR/AED certification. Experience and degree preferred but not required.

Group Fitness Instructor – Bilingual

We are looking for bilingual fitness instructors for a variety of fitness levels, ages, and classes. Applicant must have a certification. CPR certification needed as well. (CPR training is available after hired.)

Silver Sneakers Instructor

We are looking for SilverSneakers fitness instructors. SilverSneakers is an exercise program that encourages senior adults to participate in physical activities and social events to encourage health and social interaction. Along with an understanding of teaching group exercise classes and suggesting modifications based on different abilities, this person must enjoy working with senior populations. Instructor will provide classes in a safe and fun format based on SilverSneakers training. SilverSneakers training certification and CPR certification are required. ESL Instructor

The Y is looking for ESL instructors to work with adults and children in classroom settings. The instructors will help create and lead this new Y class. They will work with students to provide knowledge and confidence in English for life skills, literacy, and/or the workplace. Teaching experience is required. Apply online or at either Y location.


The YMCA is looking for lifeguards. We have morning and evening positions available. Certifications needed are Lifeguarding, CPR, AED, and First Aid. The YMCA can train the right candidate for the position. Apply at the YMCA or apply online on the previous page.

Weight Room Attendant

The Weight Room Supervisor is a part-time position with the responsibility to be familiar with and enforce behavior and safety guidelines in the weight room at the Downtown Y. Supervisor will work with members to answer questions about how to use machines and equipment, ensure the safe use of machines and equipment, and answer questions members have related to the facility. Supervisor will deal appropriately with behavioral and emergency issues and situations. Supervisor will help maintain a clean weight room.
