At the YMCA we love bringing famileis together. That’s why we host a variety of FREE Family Fun Nights throughout the year. These special evenings are all about laughter, connection, and trying new things side‑by‑side. Dive into our pool, jump into silly games, explore surprise activities, and enjoy a night where the only goal is to have fun together. Come make memories with us for a night of play, togetherness, and pure fun at the Y!

1 MILE FUN RUN
End off the year with a special treat and a healthy lifestyle.
Dashing for Donuts brings people together for winter fitness fun as well as supporting others in need in our community. Join us for dashing and delicious donuts in downtown Grand Island! Four-legged friends are welcome and participate for free! Register in person up until event day.
Halfity Half (6.55 Miles) or 2 Miles
Run the Halfity (6.55 miles) or the 2 Mile. This race will be a fun and challenging event that will offer runners the chance to try a nonconventional distance. Come RUN with us in RAILSIDE!
The event will start at the Grand Island YMCA and finish at AMUR Plaza near the Grand Theatre in downtown Grand Island. Celebrate with us at the finish line with music, food and beverages in the AMUR Plaza. Awards ceremony following the event.
